Four companies have applied for gas production at the Dolphin field

Applications for participation in the state tender for the development and production of oil and gas in the Dolphin sector on the Black Sea shelf were submitted by four companies. It is reported by the Ministry of Energy and Coal Mining.

The Interdepartmental Commission received four applications for participation in the tender for the development of the Dolphin field – from Caspian Drilling International Ltd., Frontera, Trident Black Sea and the Ukrainian company PJSC Ukrnaftoburinnya.

Ihor Nasalik, as the Chairman of the Interdepartmental Commission, noted that the submitted documents will be processed and analyzed by members of the commission on the possibility of the contestants to master the field.

Recall, The Head of the Presidential Administration, Andriy Bohdan, called for the continuation of a tender to conclude production sharing agreements for the Dolphin field on the Black Sea shelf for at least 120 days.

Extending the term of the tender will increase the number of international participating companies and increase the transparency of the evaluation of their bids.
