Enwell Energy spuds new well at Svyrydivske field

British Company Enwell Energy plc, a part of Smart Energy, started to drill well #25 at Svyrydivske field (Poltava region), the press service reports.

Drilling operations are scheduled to be completed by Q1, 2021. The well has a target depth of 5,320 m. Well #25 is a development well with its primary targets being the B-20, B-22 and B-23 horizons in the Visean formation. In case of successful testing, production hook-up is expected during Q2, 2021.

Earlier, this year, the British company has already put well #54 on production, at Svyrydivske field (Poltava region) as well. At the same time, at Vasyshchivske field (Kharkiv region), planning is continuing for a new well to explore the Vvdenska prospect. The company is also getting ready to spud the first well at Svystunkivsko-Chervonolutske field (Poltava region).

Recall that the British company Regal Petroleum plc, which is part of the Smart Energy group of companies and produces hydrocarbons in Ukraine, announced a name change to Enwell Energy plc.

Earlier, Ukrnafta stated that on July 1, Kyiv District Administrative Court invalidated the license of Arkona Gas-Energy LLC for the development of the Svistunkivsko-Chervonolutsk field.
