Yamal-Europe gas pipeline will be stopped for maintenance service

The Yamal-Europe gas pipeline will be shut down for scheduled maintenance on July 6 -11. It is reported by Angi.

The gas pipeline transits Russian gas through Poland to Germany. Gas intake at the Malnov point on the Polish-German border ceased on July 6 at 6:00 a.m. local time. Deliveries will be resumed on July 11 at 6.00 a.m.

The contract for the transit of Russian gas through Poland expired on May 16, and from May 17, pumping along the Polish section of Yamal-Europe will be carried out only by auction results.

In June, facilities were booked at 94% and were fully utilized daily. For the third quarter, 80% of the pipeline’s capacity was reserved.

Gazprom spokesman Serhii Kupriyanov said that despite the expiration of a transit contract with Poland, Russian gas supplies through the country will continue, the company will use this route “on demand”.

Recall that Gazprom began to transport gas through Poland according to European rules.

Earlier it was reported that due to the suspension of the Turkish Stream, gas transit along the southern route of the Ukrainian gas transmission system increased by 50%.
