Gerus said what would happen to gas prices in Ukraine

People's Deputy of Ukraine, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Energy and Housing and Utilities Andriy Gerus said that low prices for natural gas should not be expected during the 2020/21 heating season.

He said this during the ENERGY INSIDE online discussion on Tuesday, October 20.

“We see that the price of gas is growing. Today it is over $180. And it is obvious that this trend, apparently, will continue until winter or until the end of winter. I think that the era of cheap energy resources, which was in the spring of this year and the first half of the year, is passing. Prices will be at this average level and will be quite stable, ”he said.

NEURC reported non-compliance with the deadline for publishing information on changes in the price of natural gas for household consumers.
