Gas Supply Company Naftogaz wants to automatically connect clients of the SoLR to itself

Gas Supply Company Naftogaz of Ukraine reported that household consumers who temporarily became clients of the supplier of last resort in the gas market (LPG) would automatically be able to switch to GSC Naftogaz.

Such a decision for household customers who did not choose a market supplier and receive gas from the SoLR became possible due to the adoption and signing of the Law of Ukraine No.2553 "On Amendments to Certain Legislative Acts of Ukraine on the Introduction of Metering and Settlement of Volume on the Natural Gas Market. gas in energy units".

According to this law, Gas Supply Company Naftogaz of Ukraine applied to NEURC regarding the connection of all household clients of the SoLR to the company on a basic annual offer. This will allow customers to receive gas during the entire heating season at UAH 7.96/cu. m (including VAT, excluding distribution/delivery costs).

Gas Supply Company Naftogaz of Ukraine is awaiting a positive decision by the Regulator to create permanent conditions for consumers of natural gas.

It is also noted that in the absence of support from NEURC, from December 1, 2021, the supplier of the Last Resort will supply gas to all its consumers at a price calculated using a special formula. And the gas price will change daily and can be more than UAH 30/cubic meter.
