Groysman obliges to set marginal prices for heat and hot water

The Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman instructed the Ministry of Regional Development and the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine to bring to the next government meeting the issue of economically justified restriction of prices for heat and hot water in Ukraine from the next heating season. He said it at a government meeting.

“I give instructions to the Ministry of Regional Development and the Ministry of Justice to bring to the next government meeting the issue of the economically justified restriction of prices for heat and hot water in Ukraine, which will take effect from the next heating season”, he said.

The Prime Minister noted that there are 6 months to inventory their system of heat production and transportation of hot water.

He instructed to prepare a draft document, hold a discussion and submit a proposal to a government meeting.

Earlier it was reported that in connection with the introduction of the free electricity market, the Prime Minister of Ukraine announced the introduction of a marginal electricity price.
