A representative of the adjacent operator from Slovakia – Eustream, Mr. Michal Lalik, joined the team of experts from European gas transmission companies that help develop th e independent Ukrainian GTS Operator. The press service of the company reports.
From July 1, 2019, he was appointed advisor to the general director of the Ukrainian Gas Transmission System Operator branch of JSC Ukrtransgaz for regulatory issues.
In the company Eustream, Mr. Lalik began working in 2011. From 2017, he was appointed Head of Regulatory Issues and Network Development. He has experience in developing a regulatory framework to ensure the certification process for the Slovak GTS Operator.
Thus, five advisers to the general director of the Ukrainian GTS Operator branch, representing the EU Gas Company Consortium, are working on the development and implementation of management and production processes of the future Ukrainian GTS Operator. They represent Eustream (Slovakia), GRTgaz (France), Gasunie (Netherlands) and Snam (Italy).
These leading players in the EU gas market support the process of unbundling the Ukrainian gas transmission system and are interested in further participation in the management of the system.
