Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov at a press conference following the meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) said that the process of obtaining permission to launch the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline from the German regulator could be completed by early 2022, UNN reports.
“The work has been completed, now the process of obtaining the necessary permits from the German regulator is underway. The process, as it turns out, under German law is not fast, in my opinion, four months, the beginning of 2022 is indicated,” Lavrov said.
He also noted that he had no doubts that the attacks on the pipeline would continue.
