Moldova got a delay in payment from Gazprom

Gazprom's spokesman Serhii Kupriyanov said that Moldova had pledged to fully repay the debt to the company on November 26, Point reports.

According to him, Gazprom, as an exception, will not stop gas supplies to the country.

“The Moldovan government has asked Gazprom not to stop gas supplies from today. At the same time, the Moldovan side fully recognizes the legitimacy of Gazprom's actions and undertakes to fully make current payments on Friday, November 26,” he said.

At the same time, Gazprom firmly counts on Moldova's absolute fulfilment of its contractual obligations in the future and on payment of current payments on time.

Let us remind you that on November 22, the Russian company Gazprom notified Moldova of the possible termination of gas supplies in 48 hours due to the lack of payment under the current contract. But Moldova still hasn't settled with Gazprom.
