Kyivteploenergo conducts hydraulic tests annually when preparing the heat power complex for the next heating season.
To date, the heating systems of the heat supply zone of CHP-5 are being tested for hydraulic strength, in particular on the Paton Bridge, the press service reports.
It is noted that 11 damages to the pipeline was repaired from the beginning of the scheduled tests on Paton Bridge.
“During the repair work, traffic on the Paton Bridge was not limited. The hot water service in the houses will be restored after the completion of the tests, which will last until July 15,” the report said.
The heating network under Paton Bridge provides heat to Rusanivka and Bereznyaky. The main pipeline has been in operation for 58 years, since 1962. Its diameter is 600 mm.
The company also noted that this year the tests began later than usual due to quarantines in connection with the spread of COVID-19.
You can see the list of houses where hot water is temporarily absent due to hydraulic tests on the website of Kyivteploenergo.
