Naftogaz appoints new financial director
On January 8, Petrus Van Dril Stefanus was appointed to the post of financial director of the Naftogaz Group. This was reported by the press service.
The new CFO will be responsible for developing an integrated corporate financial function, defining the financial policies, principles and procedures of the Naftogaz Group. Also, his responsibilities will include managing financial forecasting and planning processes, providing funds for financing strategic initiatives of the group, increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of financial transactions.
The company noted that Petrus Van Dril is a financier with almost 30 years of experience working in various positions at Shell, starting with a financial adviser at a subsidiary of Billion International and ending with the position of vice president of accounting and reporting at Royal Dutch Shell before joining Naftogaz.
At various stages of his career, he worked in areas such as accounting and reporting, business performance management, business partnerships, value management, outsourcing of financial and business processes, mergers and acquisitions, and investor relations.
