NEURC was denied access to Naftogaz, NJSC was fined

Based on the results of the planned and three unscheduled inspections, the National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission fined NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, Kosatka.Media reports.

Scheduled inspections were due to the company's performance over the past four years, and unscheduled had to be held out after the appeal of market participants and consumers.

The head of NEURC suggested imposing the maximum fine on the company.

“I suggest imposing the maximum fine on the company for not allowing to held a scheduled inspection, which is UAH 850.000. The fine for preventing three unscheduled inspections is UAH102 thousand for each,” he said.

The total amount of the fine is UAH 1.156 million.

Tarasiuk also emphasized he would definitely inform the head of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine Yurii Vitrenko that NEURC had been denied access.

To recap, GSC Naftogaz wants to automatically connect SoLR clients to itself.
