NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine reported that in September 2020, the wholesale price for natural gas for heat producers to whom the company supplies gas under PSO was UAH 4318.99 per 1,000 cubic meters (excluding VAT and expenses for gas transmission by main and distribution pipelines).
This is 7% less compared to January 1, 2020 and 4% less compared to September 2019. Also, the weighted average PSO price for 9 months of 2020 is 40% lower compared to the price for 9 months of 2019.
To recap, until May 1, 2021, Naftogaz supplies natural gas to heat producers included in the Regulation on PSO on the subjects of the natural gas market to ensure public interests in the process of functioning of the natural gas market, approved by the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated October 19, 2018 No.867 (with amendments and additions), and signed the corresponding contracts for the supply of natural gas.
