Naftogaz reported on the company's profit and loss

NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine has published its financial statements for six months of 2021, the press service reports.

So, for the second quarter of 2021, Naftogaz received a net profit of UAH 8.5 billion. For the same period last year, Naftogaz received a net loss of UAH 14.7 billion.

The net loss for the entire first half of 2021 amounted to UAH 1.7 billion. For the first half of the previous year, 2020, the net loss amounted to UAH 11.5 billion.

To recap, the Cabinet of Ministers is looking for independent members of the Supervisory Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.

As reported, at the end of April 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Yurii Vitrenko as the Head of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine instead of Andriy Kobolyev. The reason for Kobolyev's dismissal was the failure to fulfil the financial plan of Naftogaz in 2020.
