Naftogaz offers gas supplying companies to form the necessary resource of natural gas for supplies to the population, the press service reports.
Naftogaz Commerce division (through Gas Supply Company Naftogaz Trading) will sell natural gas to household suppliers. The company proposes to conclude an annual gas supply contract with a monthly formulaic price determination, which will be known by the beginning of the delivery month.
The price for annual contracts will be determined based on quotations from international gas hubs, the current market spread, and payment terms. The proposed formula price is predictable and fully consistent with market price indicators and does not create distortions in the market.
The contract provides for various settlement conditions:
- 100% prepayment;
- payment in installments every 10 days during the delivery period;
- by the 25th day of the month following the delivery month.
“Naftogaz conscientiously fulfilled its obligations to provide the population with gas during the JI regime. After the regulation of the gas market is completed on August 1, the company intends to remain a reliable supplier of natural gas for the domestic market. We will offer gas of domestic and imported origin in volumes sufficient to meet the needs of Ukrainians,” said Andriy Kobolyev, Chairman of the Board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine.
According to Willem Coppuls, director of the Naftogaz Commerce Division, in the near future Naftogaz will also present a new product line for all participants in the Ukrainian gas market. Within the framework of these proposals, companies will be able to form a resource for different periods and conditions.
We will remind, the Cabinet of Ministers has extended PSO until August 1 to provide gas to the population.
Earlier it was reported that the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Naftogaz as the supplier of the last resort on the gas market for three years.
