NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine informs about the risk of gas supply interruption from February 1, 2020 for 37 heat producers who do not fulfill payment requirements for gas supply on PSO.

“Inadequate paayments of such enterprises for gas pose a threat to the heat supply to consumers in 30 cities during the heating period. The company informed these enterprises in writing about the need for immediate disbursements in order to avoid interruption of gas supply”, the statement said.

The company notes that as of January 23, 2020, enterprises that owed funds to continue receiving gas from February 1 as part of PSO need to pay more than UAH 454.4 million (taking into account the cost of gas consumed in December 2019).
