NEURC revises gas price for SoLR clients

The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission, at its meeting on December 9, 2021, will consider the issue of changing natural gas prices for the SoLR customers, the press service reports.

NEURC emphasized that such a decision would allow household consumers to receive gas on the basic annual offer of Gas Supply Company Naftogaz of Ukraine, viz UAH 7.96 per cubic meter (including VAT). Currently, the SoLR supplies natural gas to more than 347 thousand household consumers.

The regulator said that due to a price hike in the natural gas market since December 1, the price of gas sold by the SoLR for the needs of household consumers is about UAH 30 per cubic meter.

To recap, NEURC was denied access to Naftogaz, NJSC was fined.

Earlier, Gas Supply Company Naftogaz of Ukraine suggested connecting the SoLR clients automatically.
