NEURC informs about non-compliance with the deadline for publishing information on changes in gas prices for the population

The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission, based on the results of monitoring the websites of natural gas suppliers, established a massive non-observance of the 5-day period for publishing information on changes in the price of natural gas for household consumers, the press service reports.

“Based on the above, the Regulator carried out 27 unscheduled on-site inspections based on the results of which acts were drawn up, which recorded violations of the requirements of the provisions of the Model Agreement for the supply of natural gas to household consumers in terms of publishing on the website detailed information on the change in the price of natural gas five days before its introduction into action,” the message says.

At one of the next meetings, NEURC will consider inspections' indicated acts and apply appropriate sanctions to licensees.
