Almost all gas distribution stations in the liberated territories are running or are go for launch

Almost all gas distribution stations in the liberated north territories of Ukraine are running or are go for launch. The launch will take place after restoring the networks of regional gas companies.

There are two gas distribution stations remaining suspended in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions. All the stations are running in the Sumy region, the CEO of the GTSOU Serhii Makohon said on the TV channel “Kyiv”.

As of April 19, 39 gas distribution stations in 6 regions of Ukraine were not running. 80% of them are located in the Donetsk, Luhansk and Zaporizhzhia regions, where active hostilities are ongoing. The GTSOU’s professionals use each and every opportunity to restore gas supply to Ukrainian settlements, even while being shelled.

“We currently focus on restoring gas supply to the liberated territories – the Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy regions. We are cooperating with the Ukrainian military to perform demining of our facilities,” the Head of the GTSOU said.
