Poland set a daily record for gas consumption

Poland has set a daily record for natural gas consumption, the gas system's local operator says - GAZ-Sistem, Angi reports.

According to the operator, 88 million cubic meters of gas were supplied to Polish consumers over the last day (January 18).

This result is mostly due to weather conditions; its average daily air temperature was then -10 ° C.

The country has been trying to increase the volume of liquefied gas supplied from the USA recently.

As reported, the demand for gas supplies from Ukraine to Poland exceeded the system's capabilities.
