The Regulator approved the draft tariffs for natural gas distribution services for regional gas companies

The National Energy and Utilities Regulatory Commission has approved the draft tariffs for natural gas distribution services for 2021, Economichna Pravda reports.

It is noted that the Regulator decided to approve and publish on the official website the regulation on setting tariffs for 22 operators of gas distribution networks to receive comments and suggestions. According to the documents, tariffs for 20 out of 22 regional gas companies are planned to be increased.

In particular, the tariff of Kyivoblgaz will increase from UAH 0.81 to UAH 1.55 per cubic meter (excluding VAT), Kyivgaz – from UAH 0.28 to UAH 0.32, Odesagaz – from UAH 0.79 to UAH 0.89, Poltavagaz – from UAH 1.09 to UAH 2.07, Khersongaz – from UAH 0.94 to UAH 1.8, Luhanskgaz – from UAH 0.92 to UAH 1.13 per cubic meter.

When calculating tariffs for natural gas distribution services, the need to compensate for the lost tariff revenue of regional gas companies for 2015-2019 was taken into account, as well as compensation for costs associated with the difference in prices when purchasing natural gas in 2015-2019, which is necessary to meet production and technological needs.

Earlier, Andriy Kobolyev, Head of the board of NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, said heat producers would have to buy gas at market prices.
