The Regulator will check 14 regional gas distribution companies due to additional gas payments to consumers

The Energy and Utilities the National Regulatory Commission will re-checks 14 regional gas distribution companies of Dmitry Firtash’s RGC regarding compliance with the regulations on the abolition of additional gas payments to consumers.   

The inspection will be carried out in OJSC Volyngaz, OJSC Zhytomyrgaz, OJSC Zakarpatgaz, OJSC Zaporizhgaz, OJSC Ivano-Frankivskgaz, OJSC Kyivoblgaz, OJSC Lvivgaz, OJSC Rivnegaz, OJSC Sumygaz, PJSC Kharkivgaz, OJSC Kharkivgorgaz, OJSC Khmelnytskgaz, OJSC Chernivtsigaz, and OJSC Chernihivgaz.   

The Regulatory Commission has already checked the aforementioned regional gas distribution companies and obliged them to stop charging household consumers for bringing the volume of gas consumed to standard conditions, which led to additional payments.  

The Energy and Utilities the National Regulatory Commission obliged companies to recalculate payments for those specific consumers that were checked, and also to recalculate additional payments for the entire period starting from October 2018, for all consumers for which such additional payments were made, until April 26, 2019.
