Since the beginning of the heating season, gas stocks in UGS facilities have decreased by 1.8 times

From October 19, 2020, to April 11, 2021, Ukraine reduced the reserves of natural gas in underground storage facilities (UGS) by 1.8 times (by 12.85 billion cubic meters) – to 15.595 billion cubic meters, according to Interfax-Ukraine.

According to the agency's calculations, in October the withdrawal from the storage facilities amounted to 0.2 billion cubic meters, in November – 1.8 billion cubic meters, in December – 2.8 billion cubic meters, in January – 2.6 billion cubic meters, in February – 2.9 billion cubic meters, in March – 2.2 billion cubic meters, April 1-11 – 0.4 billion cubic meters.

On April 11 this year, gas was withdrawn from only four UGS facilities in Ukraine; 32.42 million cubic meters were raised. In 2020, on this day, 33.84 million cubic meters were pumped into the underground storage facilities.

In the last heating season, which lasted from November 1, 2019, to March 26, 2020, gas reserves in the country's UGS facilities decreased by 27.5% - from 21.784 billion cubic meters. m to 15.784 billion cubic meters. In the 2020 inter-heating season, the reserves in the Ukrainian UGS facilities increased by 1.8 times – from 15.784 billion cubic meters to 28.443 billion cubic meters.

As reported, heat producers owed Naftogaz almost UAH 100 billion.
