Trump extends LNG export licenses until 2050

US President Donald Trump, during a speech in Texas on Wednesday, July 29, announced that licenses for the export of American liquefied natural gas (LNG) will be extended until 2050, Korrespondent reports.

“To ensure that we maintain our dominant position (in the energy sector – ed.), my administration today announces that the US LNG export licenses can now be extended until 2050,” he said.
