Ukraine is completely ready for the heating season – Buslavets
Acting Minister of Energy Olha Buslavets said during a briefing that Ukraine had accumulated 3 million tons of coal and 26 billion cubic meters of natural gas before the start of the heating season, RBC reports.
“Ukraine is entering the heating season, we are now preparing for it very actively, with record fuel reserves. Today we have 3 million tons of coal in warehouses, and this is almost three times more than last and the year before last. We have 26 billion cubic meters of gas in gas storage facilities,” she said.
The Minister stressed that such large stocks give confidence in the security of energy supplies during the heating season.
