Ukrgazvydobuvannya received permission to drill 11 blocked wells

Ukrgazvydobuvannya JSC announced that it had received permission to drill 11 new wells, which were blocked due to the lack of an environmental impact assessment (EIA) conclusion. The EIA conclusion could not be obtained due to quarantine restrictions.

It is reported that the company has already begun work on well No.62 at Komyshnyanske field.

“According to preliminary estimates, the company and the country may receive up to 200 million cubic meters of gas less in 2020-2021 because of untimely work. Accordingly, the budget will receive fewer taxes from the potential sale of this gas,” the message says.
