Ukrtransgaz plans to invest billions in gas storage system

The acting General Director of JSC Ukrtransgaz Serhii Pereloma during the Ukrainian Gas Investment Congress said that the system of underground gas storage in Ukraine had already proven its effectiveness, Kosatka.Media reports.

The Head of the company recalled that Ukraine can store 31 billion cubic meters of gas, thanks to which it can provide the best services for the European market.

“We can help Europe, especially in the current crisis conditions. We are ready to invest UAH 14 billion in the technical capacity of the gas storage system and we will do so. We invite European partners to cooperate,” he said.

To recap, Ukrtransgaz simplifies the procedure for storing gas in the “customs warehouse” mode.

As reported, Ukrtransgaz will spend millions by the end of the year on preparations for the heating season.
