In March Ukrainians will receive the lowest sum in the bill for heat for the entire heating season – Honcharuk

Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk said that in February, Ukrainians would receive the lowest sum in the bill for heat during the heating season. 

More than half of Ukrainians who are on individual heating will pay 40% less for heating than in February 2019.Also, the population will receive a joint bill – for gas and its transmission.

“In February, Ukrainians will pay a record low amount for heat supply, not only this winter, but also in recent years. This is the result of the work of the team of the President, Parliament, Government; there are many factors that have affected the reduction in the cost of payment”, said the head of Government.

The Prime Minister also noted that the Government would continue its energy efficiency policy to reduce utility costs for Ukrainians.

To recap, 16 heat suppliers have not yet paid off the debt to Naftogaz.
