Gazprom announced that it would complete the construction of Nord Stream 2 on their own

Head of the Russian company Gazprom, Alexey Miller, said that Russia has no technological obstacles to complete the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline, UNIAN reports.

“Today, technological risks are being solved by our facilities, therefore, Nord Stream 2 will be completed. Of course, this takes a little longer, but we do not have technological obstacles to do this on our own”, Miller said.

It should be reminded that the Russian Federation said it had found a way to complete Nord Stream 2 despite US sanctions.

As reported that the authorities of the United States of America required contracting companies that was involved in the construction of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline to cease work before January 20, otherwise new sanctions would be applied against them.
