2.3 billion cubic meters of gas were pumped into Ukrainian UGS facilities in July

Gas volumes in Ukrainian underground gas storages increased by 2.3 billion cubic meters in July up to 15.9 billion cubic meters. The press service of the company reports such information.

Thus, now there is by 3 billion cubic meters of gas more in the UGS Fs than last year.  

Ukraine continues to accumulate gas in underground storage facilities in preparation for the next heating season.

About 20 billion cubic meters of gas must be accumulated in underground gas storage facilities to ensure a stable autumn-winter season 2019/2020.

Recall that Ukraine and Moldova are negotiating on the possibility of using Ukrainian underground gas storages to diversify energy sources.
