There is still no heating in one of the cities of Kharkiv region – Naftogaz
NJSC Naftogaz Ukrainy informs that in Kupyansk, Kharkiv region, houses still have no heating.
It is noted that local heating companies did not provide the company with the documents required to conclude gas supply contracts.
We are talking about documents on the legal succession for debt obligations of UAH 118.3 million.
“Naftogaz is a state company that operates in a strictly defined legislative field. Without settling the situation with debts, we legally cannot sign an agreement on gas supplies with the company,” the message says.
Responsibility for the timely start of the heating season and its stable passage lies with the utility and local authorities.
The company noted that it had repeatedly warned about the need to resolve debt problems and asked the founders of enterprises, boiler house managers, and local authorities to protect the city's residents.
“Tomorrow, we are expecting representatives of the thermal workers to sign the necessary documents.”
Naftogaz also reminded that 99% of cities and towns in the country had no heating season problems. They prepare for the cold in advance and solve their debt problems.
Earlier it was reported that due to debts, 11 settlements in Ukraine remained without heat.
