Almost 20 billion cubic meters of gas were pumped into underground storage facilities.

Natural gas stocks in Ukrainian underground storage facilities (UGS) were increased by 2.6% - up to 19.73 billion cubic meters from June 21 to 27, UNIAN reports.

As of June 28, gas stocks in underground gas storage facilities are 46% higher than on the same date in 2019 (13.5 billion cubic meters). At the same time, Ukrainian gas storages are almost 63.6% full.

Recall that Ukrtransgaz switched to the gas injection mode at the end of March.

Earlier it was reported that NEURC approved a plan for the development of UGS for the next 10 years. The total investment in UGS infrastructure is UAH 13.5 billion.
