An explosion occurred at a gas processing plant in Syria

In Syria, in the province of Deir ez-Zor, yesterday, on July 11, an explosion occurred at the Conoco gas processing plant. A US military base is located a short way off the emergency, Angi reports.

It is still unknown why the explosion occurred at the enterprise. Meanwhile, the Pentagon said the US military came under fire in eastern Syria near the Konoko oil refinery.

In June this year, it was reported that a United States military base located in the Al Omar oil-rich area in the Syrian province of Deir ez-Zor in the northeast of the country was attacked by rockets. And before this incident, the US Air Force launched airstrikes on targets of Iranian-backed groups in the border region of Iraq and Syria at the direction of US President Joseph Biden.

As reported, there was an explosion at a biofuel plant in the Czech Republic.
