Ukrtransgaz reported on the volumes of gas stocks in UGS

From October 2 to October 24, 2021, Ukraine reduced the stocks of natural gas in its underground storage facilities (UGS) by 2% (by 381.2 million cubic meters) to 18 billion 494.8 million cubic meters, according to the operational data of JSC Ukrtransgaz, Interfax-Ukraine reports.

Thus, according to the agency's calculations, the average daily gas withdrawal from storage facilities fluctuated within the range of 22-26.6 million cubic meters last week, in particular, on October 24, 24.24 million cubic meters were raised from the storage facilities.

Earlier, the Head of the UGS Operator in Ukraine, Serhii Pereloma, mentioned that private households had started using gas for heating since the beginning of October, while the centralized heat supply has not been fully connected yet.

As reported, Ukraine began to take gas from underground storage facilities in early October.
