Vitrenko filed a lawsuit due to non-payment of the bonus by Naftogaz

Yuriy Vitrenko, Executive Director of Naftogaz of Ukraine, has filed a lawsuit due to a delay in paying the bonus from winning arbitration in Stockholm over Gazprom. He stated this on the air of the TV channel UA: First:

“If there is a proposal to divide equally (premiums from winnings – ed.), it is also not accepted, but at the same time, some officials or some politicians want not to comply with the laws, violate laws, oblige companies to not comply with laws, respectively... Then, accordingly, we must defend our rights in order to show everyone that there is the rule of law and that we live in a state of law. I have already filed a lawsuit, so, I do not scare anyone, I just say that there is a legal way to protect my interests. And if the state doesn’t want to be fair, and doesn’t evenly want equally, well then you need to go to court”.

He noted that the lawsuit is a matter of principles, not money.

Prime Minister of Ukraine Oleksiy Honcharuk appealed to the Supervisory Board of Naftogaz with a request to refrain from any actions aimed at paying bonuses.

Earlier it was reported that Yuriy Vitrenko said that the company did not fulfill the terms of the labor contract and had still not paid him a bonus. He offered to give Ukrainians his bonus, as well as guaranteed income for Ukraine from a contract with Gazprom.
