As of September 17, 2019, the total overdue indebtedness of district heating companies, CHPPs to Naftogaz of Ukraine is about 40 billion UAH. The debt increased by 278 million UAH (0.7%) compared to last week. This was reported by the press service of the company.
The largest total overdue debts for gas used in this category were accumulated by district heating companies and CHPP enterprises in Donetsk (7 billion UAH), Dnipropetrovsk (6.6 billion UAH), Kharkiv (4.1 billion UAH), Luhansk (1.8 billion UAH), Odesa (1.6 billion UAH), Lviv (1.2 billion UAH), Zaporizhzhia (1.1 billion UAH) regions, Kyiv city (3.2 billion UAH) and the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (1.4 billion UAH).
The debt of regional gas utility enterprises is about 22.4 billion UAH, including by categories of consumers that are not subject to PSO – 234 million UAH. Debt increased by 527 million UAH (2.4%) compared to last week.
The total overdue debt to Naftogaz of Ukraine of regional gas supply enterprises for natural gas amounts to about 22.4 billion UAH, including by categories of consumers that are not subject to PSO – 234 million UAH.
The debt of Kyivteploenergo for gas used to produce heat and electricity, over the past week increased by 118 million UAH (3.4%). The total debt of Kyivteploenergo is about 3.6 billion UAH for all contracts concluded with the Company.
The company notes that the increase in debt of district heating companies, CHPPs and gas utility enterprises during the third week of the month is typical and is explained by the execution of acts of acceptance and transfer of gas volumes used in August 2019, and the population’s payments for services for the supply of energy in the previous month until 20th of the current month.
