President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy instructed the Deputy Head of the President’s Office of Ukraine Kyrylo Tymoshenko to conduct a full audit of the existing tariffs in Kyiv and all regions of Ukraine, compare pricing for different periods, and also obtain comprehensive explanations from the relevant leaders on the ground on tariff policy, Interfax-Ukraine reports.
As reported on the website of the head of state, such an order was given, “taking into account the appearance in the public space of various speculative statements on the formation of tariffs at the level of cities and villages of the country, as well as the groundless attempts of individual representatives of local authorities to justify an additional increase in tariffs in front of society over the level that is already causing significant issues in terms of equity."
