Use of fuel in Ukraine

According to the results of 4 months of 2019 Ukraine used:

• Coal — 15 378.4 thousand tons;
• Natural gas — 14 686.5 mln cubic meters;
• Fuel oil — 34.3 thousand tons;
• Petrol* — 153.7 thousand tons;
• Diesel fuel* — 1 189 thousand tons;
• Propane and butane* — 45.3 thousand tons;

In April 2019 compared to the same period of 2018 use of coal increased by 1.5%, natural gas – 7.7%, use of fuel oil decreased by 64.7%, petroleum – -4.9%, diesel fuel – -3.2%, propane and butane – -14.4%. 

Population bought 349 thousand tons of petroleum, 295.3 thousand tons of diesel fuel and 266.4 thousand tons of propane and butane at filling stations. The total cost of fuel sold at the filling stations according to 4 months’ results amount to more than 34 billion UAH
