Oil transportation by Ukrainian pipelines in the first half of 2019

In June 2019 Ukrainian pipelines transmitted 1094 thousand tons of oil, which is 24.4% less compared to the same period last year. Of this amount 197.7 thousand tons (+11.7% compared to the last year figure) were delivered to Ukrainian refineries and 897 thousand tons (- 29.6%) to European countries.

The remarkable thing is that compared to the previous month – May – the total transit volume increased by 50.6% (is equivalent to 452.6 thousand tons).

Monthly performance of transportation by domestic pipelines looks as followed: 

• January —  1 259 thousand tons;
• February — 1 262 thousand tons;
• March — 1 387 thousand tons;
• April — 1 040 thousand tons;
• May — 641.4 thousand tons;
• June — 1 094 thousand tons. 

According to the results of the 1st quarter of 2019, Ukrtransnafta transmitted 6684 thousand tons of oil (by 9.4% less than for the 1st quarter of 2018) by main pipelines, of which 1093 thousand tons is transit to Ukrainian refineries (+7.1%) and 5591 thousand tons is oil transported to European countries.
