The volume of oil supplies to Kremenchuk refinery will increase to 1.2 million tons per year

JSC Ukrtransnafta and PJSC Ukrtatnafta entered into an agreement to increase the guaranteed volumes of oil transportation through the system of main oil pipelines to Kremenchuk oil refinery from October 1, 2019 to 1.2 million tons per year. This was reported by the press service.

The document also includes the so-called ship-or-pay principle, in case the actual volumes of raw materials are lower than guaranteed, the customer additionally pays the cost of transporting undelivered volumes in accordance with the established tariff.

For three years from October 1, 2019 to September 30, 2022, the customer guarantees the supply of oil in the amount of at least 1.2 million tons annually and at least 300 thousand tons from October 1, 2022 to December 31, 2022.

In particular, the guaranteed volume of oil transmission per year, which the customer agrees to deliver, reduces the increase in the tariff for pumping raw materials to Kremenchuk refinery compared to its design size, which was previously based on actual pumping volumes.

Recall that in September the National Energy and utilities Regulatory Commission adopted a draft resolution on a three-stage increase in tariffs for oil transmission through the pipelines of JSC Ukrtransnafta over a period of three years.
