Ukrtransnafta increased the volume of oil transportation to Ukrainian refineries by 16%

In January 2020, Ukrtransnafta increased the volume of oil transportation to Ukrainian refineries by 16% compared to January last year – up to 188.5 thousand tons. This was reported by the press service.

In particular, in December, the company transported 120.5 thousand tons of Ukrainian oil to Ukrainian refineries, 45.8 thousand tons – Azerbaijani (Azeri Light) and 22.2 thousand tons – Libyan (El Sharara).

Oil transit through the territory of Ukraine by pipeline to European countries in January 2020 compared to the same period of the past decreased by 3.6% – to 1,057 million tons.

In general, in January 2020, Ukrtransnafta reduced oil transportation by 1.1% compared to January last year, from 1.259 million tons to 1.246 million tons.

To recap, in 2019 the company increased the volume of oil transportation to the Ukrainian refineries by 13.6% compared to 2018.

Earlier it was reported that Ukrtransnafta had completely displaced dirty oil from the Druzhba pipeline.
