Ukrtransnafta transported 1.6 million tons of oil in March

In March 2020, the total volume of oil transportation increased by 14.8% compared to March last year - from 1.387 million tons to 1.592 million tons. This was reported by the press service.

Last month, Ukrtransnafta increased the volume of oil transportation to Ukrainian refineries by 5.7% compared to March last year, to 196.3 thousand tons. Of these, the company transported 125 thousand tons of Ukrainian oil to Ukrainian refineries, 62 thousand tons - Azerbaijani (Azeri Light) and 9 thousand tons - American oil (Bakken).

Oil transit through the territory of Ukraine by pipeline in March 2020 increased by 16.2% compared to the same period last year, to 1.396 million tons. In particular, more than 1.134 million tons of oil was transported for the needs of European refineries and more than 261 thousand tons for the needs of Belarus refineries.

According to the results of January-March 2020, the total volume of transported oil is 4.039 million tons of oil (3.4% more than in the same period in 2019.), of which the volume of oil transported to Ukrainian refineries is 592 thousand tons (17 2% more than in the first quarter of 2019), and transit – 3.448 million tons (an increase of 1.3% compared to the same period in 2019).

To recap, in March Ukrtransnafta began transporting oil to Belarus along the route of Yuzhny - Brody - Mozyr.
