Ukrnafta reduced oil and condensate production in February

According to operational data, PJSC Ukrnafta produced 112.5 thousand tons of oil and condensate and 81.6 million cubic meters of gas in February 2021. The average daily production of oil and condensate amounted to 4.02 thousand tons, and gas – 2.91 million m3, the press service reports.

Compared to January 2021, these indicators increased by 0.8% for oil and condensate and decreased by 1% for gas. Concerning the indicators of February 2020, the average daily oil production decreased by 5.4%, and the production of natural gas – by 10.5%.

“Ukrnafta has fulfilled the production plan for oil and gas production in February. At the same time, the company managed to reduce the rate of the natural decline in oil production more than triple as well as the rate of the natural decline in gas production, related to a high degree of depletion of the company's main fields,” the statement says.

In February, Ukrnafta completed an overhaul at 9 wells, relaunched 9 wells, performed 4 stimulation operations and performed 4 operations using a coiled tubing unit without a workover crew.

As reported, Azerbaijan reduced oil exports by 4% in January-February 2021.
