The total volume of oil transportation through the system of main oil pipelines in November 2019 is 1.536 million tons, which is 29.9% more than in November 2018. This was reported by the press service.
“The volume of oil pumping for consumers in Ukraine (refinery) in November this year increased by 10.5% compared to the same period last year, to 206.8 thousand tons”, the statement said.
In November, the transit of Russian oil to European countries also increased – up to 1.329 million tons, which is 33.6% more than in the same month of 2018.
For 11 months, the company generally transported 14.142 million tons of oil (0.8% more compared to the same period in 2018) for Ukrainian and European consumers.
The overall indicator of oil transportation was affected by a decrease in transit through a temporary shutdown of Druzhba oil pipeline as a result of the ingress of raw materials with a high content of organic chlorides into it. The transit of Russian oil to the EU countries was stopped from April 25 to May 11, 2019, as well as from May 17 to May 21, 2019.
Earlier it was reported that Ukrtransnafta and Transneft extended the transit agreement until 2030.
