Pollution was detected in the Druzhba pipeline again

On June 19, a new pollution of oil with organochlorine compounds was recorded at the Druzhba pipeline between Belarus and Poland.  After that, Poland stopped pumping oil.

A new pollution was discovered after analyzing the oil on June 19 at the checkpoint Adamova Zastava, through which Russian oil comes from Belarus to Poland.

Oil pumping through the pipeline section, which is controlled by the Polish operator PERN, was stopped.

In the morning of June 20, the pumping of Russian oil was resumed.

Earlier it was reported that on April 25, 2019, the transit of oil through the territory of Ukraine was temporarily suspended after European consumers refused to accept Russian oil with a high content of the mass fraction of organic chlorides, citing information from JSC Gomeltransneft Druzhba.
