Ukrtransnafta transported over 11 million tons of oil for 9 months of 2020

Ukrtransnafta reports that for 9 months of 2020 the volume of transported oil amounts to 11.8 million tons, which is 6% more compared to the same period last year.

In particular, the volume of oil transportation for Ukrainian refineries in January-September 2020 amounts to 1.9 million tons (8.7% more than in this period in 2019), and transit amounts to 9.9 million tons (5.5 % more compared to the same period in 2019)

The total volume of oil transportation in September 2020 decreased by 8% compared to September last year to 1.5 million tons. In particular, the transit of oil by pipelines through the territory of Ukraine decreased by 6.7% to 1.3 million tons, and the volume of oil transportation to Ukrainian refineries decreased by 13.6% to 204 thousand tons of oil. Of these, the company transported 112,100 tons of Ukrainian oil to refineries, 76,800 tons of Azerbaijani (Azeri), and 15,100 tons of American (WTI).

To recap, at the end of September, Ukrtransnafta exposed two oil theft schemes in Lviv and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
