Centerenergo is looking for coal suppliers

In order to improve the efficiency of TPPs production and reduce the cost per unit of electricity, Centerenergo continues to search for suppliers of high-quality coal, the press service reports.

“For stable passage of the autumn-winter period, the company's needs by the end of this year amount to 1 million 900 thousand tons of coal. Of these, 1.6 million tons - coal of the gas group, 300 thousand tons – coal with a low content of volatile substances," said in the message.

It is noted that part of the demand for coal from the gas group can be provided by state mines. But, despite the significant stock of coal of the gas group in the warehouses of TPPs – and this is about 600 thousand tons, the issues of further fuel supply have not been resolved.

Therefore, continuing to search for additional sources of fuel, Centrenergo on Tuesday, September 8 for the second time will appear on the Ukrainian energy exchange. The company invites potential partners to participate in the auction with their proposals.
