PJSC Centerenergo announced that on Tuesday, September 15, it again enters the Ukrainian Energy Exchange for the purchase of coal and invites suppliers of all forms of ownership to come up with their proposals.
To date, more than 600 thousand tons of coal have been accumulated in the warehouses of TPPs of PJSC Centrenergo. Coal of the gas group is shipped from state-owned coal mining enterprises in accordance with the signed contracts. The state power generating company carries out settlements with fuel suppliers of both state and private forms of ownership on time. The enterprise does not have debts, the due date of which according to the contractual conditions has come.
“At the same time, for a stable passage of the autumn-winter period 2020-2021 and in accordance with the available composition of power equipment, PJSC Centerenergo requires 1 million tons of coal stocks of grades A and P, of which about 300 thousand tons this year. Thermal coal of grades A and P is not mined in the territory controlled by Ukraine and can only be imported,” the message says.
Recall that the Ministry of Energy said that coal stocks in warehouses are 2.1 million tons higher than last year.
