Centrenergo: Coal mined by state mines will be supplied under direct contracts

The Ministry of Energy together with heads of Centrenergo and the State Property Fund of Ukraine have decided on direct supplies of coal from state mines to Centerenergo PJSC without the involvement of intermediaries. It was also agreed with the directors of coal mining enterprises, the press service reports.

To date, Centrenergo and state mines have already concluded direct contracts for the supply of 893 thousand tons of coal at UAH 1650/ton, shipment began on March 4.

“All subsequent coal supply contracts for PJSC Centrenergo will also be concluded directly. Such steps take place within the implementation of five main tasks assigned to the new management of the company by the State Property Fund of Ukraine,” the statement says.

To recap, Centrenergo has changed its head.

As reported, Dobropillyavuhillya is the No.1 candidate for joining Centrenergo.
