DTEK Energy is ready to resume the work of mines subject to market stabilization

DTEK Energo is ready to resume the work of Pavlohradvuhillya and Dobropillyavuhillya, respectively, from May 15 and June 1, subject to the stabilization of the Ukrainian energy market. This was said during a meeting in the Ministry of Energy and Environmental Protection by company's CEO Dmytro Sakharuk.

“We are ready to start if the market works stably,” he emphasized. Mr. Sakharuk said that now 26,000 miners don’t work from April 1 in Dobropillya, and from April 26 in Pavlohrad.

He also appealed to the ministry with a request to contribute to the postponement of the certification regime, which was supposed to end on May 1, since in the conditions of quarantine it is physically impossible to complete certification – specialists cannot come to the facilities.

Recall April 30 acting Minister of Energy and Environmental Protection Olha Buslavets said that a set of measures was proposed to overcome the crisis in the country's energy sector at the first meeting of the Anti-Crisis Energy Headquarters.
